The rising singer-songwriter from north West Wales has had a standout year, performing at major Welsh events like the National Eisteddfod, Tafwyl, Maes B, and Sesiwn Fawr Dolgellau. As one of the most promising young artists in the Welsh language music scene, the 18-year-old is also emerging as a leading talent across the country. Her music is captivating, powerful, and rich with emotional depth, leaving a lasting impact on listeners.
Her debut single, Dal Dig, has featured on BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio Cymru and BBC Radio Wales as well as on TV.
With her fourth single due for release at the end of February, Buddug is now working towards her first album, thanks to the BBC Horizons Launchpad Fund 2025, and has also been selected for the Forte10 initiative.
