Allie John, Creative Producer, yello brick
Allie John is the co-founder and Director of yello brick, a creative studio that makes tailor-made experiences that take audiences on richly layered journeys, placing them at the centre of the story. Their multi-disciplinary work focuses on ways people can interact with physical and digital spaces in new and interesting ways through storytelling and playful encounters. In the past, they have created epic urban adventure games on the streets of Cardiff, a live immersive audio experience broadcast at sunrise and sunset and an interactive dining experience with a digital twist.
yello brick was awarded a Cardiff Design Festival Award for interactive digi-physical game Everwake and a BAFTA Cymru Games commendation for technical achievement for multiplatform experience Reverie. They have designed and developed digital games and interactive stories for some of the largest organisations in Wales. Clients include NHS, National Theatre Wales, Welsh National Opera, Wales Millennium Centre, Amgueddfa Cymru, National Trust and Clear Channel.
