With a career spanning 25 years, Chris has founded and curated festivals, music venues, club nights, and exhibitions while also promoting and lighting gigs across the North of England. His experience in process mapping and training delivery, combined with firsthand insight into the challenges venue operators face, has shaped his work over the past five years at Music Venue Trust—a charity dedicated to protecting, securing, and improving Grassroots Music Venues. In the last year, he has led key projects, including the Pipeline Investment Fund, GMV Training, and Member Resources, while also supporting the delivery of Ethical Venues, a workshop series helping venues showcase their efforts and prepare for funding opportunities in his role as Venue Resources Coordinator.
