Richard is Head of Programme at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall with responsibility for both the Main Hall (1600 cap) and the 250 capacity Music Room (200 seated 250 standing), promoting and presenting in excess of 350 show per annum. He was previously Director of The Met Arts Centre Bury, Phoenix Arts Leicester, and De Montfort Hall Leicester and was the founding Co-Director of both the Summer Sundae Weekender and Big Session Festivals.
He is also a non Executive Director of Sound Roots/English Folk Expo, Music Beyond Mainstream, British Association of Concert Halls and Big Difference Productions.
