I am the co-founder of a promotion/booking agency called Highjinkx (www.highjinkx.com) and an independent record label, Beeline Records (www.beelinerecords.com) in South Korea.
Through Highjinkx we run international shows and tours in Korea and occasionally further afield as well. We have hosted shows in Korea for the likes of Joss Stone, Syd, Kings Of Convenience, Big Thief, St. Vincent, BCNR, Novo Amor, Samm Henshaw, Aurora, Mitski, Julien Baker, Hippo Campus, Yuika, Hitsujibungaku, Hitorie, Mono No Aware, Omoinotake and more. We have also booked artists for several festivals and events in Korea, including the Busan International Rock Festival & Burn Art Festival. We run a project called Focus Asia (that aims to introduce the best talent from around Asia to the Korean market) and a tour exchange project that has so far seen bands from the UK and Korea take part in extensive tour swaps over the last few years. Beeline Records is an independent label/label services company through which we represent Eundohee, Wedance and Jacqui from Korea and help several international acts with digital distribution and promotion of their releases in Korea. In short, we do a bit of everything.
