Benjamin J Wilsin is a food educator, poet, community chef and musician. He believes in the creation of community, our shared humanity and the ability to disagree well. Through food history, storytelling, folk rhythms and the universal, primal importance of sharing a good meal he believes we can cross cultural and political decisions… Through fun, play, taste and questioning… And above all else – collaboration.
Experience includes: founding and running an award winning community cafe, food education and community garden; freelance food education and poetry workshops; consultant and mentorship work within food education and community organising. Ben’s poetry and music work also been both published and self published, with commissioned work and arts council funded projects under his belt.
