My name is Figo. I am an independent artist from the South Wales valleys, Caerphilly. I am a rapper making alternative/experimental Grime. My sound is definitely unique and exciting mixing high tempo grime beats with bouncy melodies and hard hitting synths along with introspective lyrics and intricate word play. Working closely with the Welsh artist Minas for production, we continue to curate progressive songs in a hope to spread my message, which is one of self empowerment and awareness of the hardships faced in my local area. I talk about my life experiences along with the struggles of growing up in the working class of the Welsh Valleys, discussing topics like financial and mental health issues.
