• ‘an absolute smorgasbord of musical delights’

PWSI are a Welsh bilingual alternative six-piece band blending Shoegaze haze with digital shimmer and Pop elements. Distorted guitars and dreamy synth textures swell beneath commanding vocal harmonies, exploring nostalgia, transformation, love, spirituality and feminine prowess.

Their debut single is a bilingual cover of Bjork’s Venus as a Boy, already played on BBC Wales Radio Cymru 2 with Mirain Iwerydd. They have headlined Porter’s in Cardiff with Beacon’s Cymru and are set to play Psych & Noise Festival at Cardiff’s Mad Dog Brewery, Focus Wales 2026, All Road’s Glastonbury Festival with supporting acts Noon Wolf and Vain for their headline in September 2026.

Their songs are written and produced by front woman Sera Boudreaux (Seraphyre), alongside Jessi Hope, with Reuben Brown and Thomas Jones on guitar, Samuel Duval on bass and Karl Horazsky on drums.

Their logo identity draws from Bastet, the Egyptian goddess of magick, sex and music, incorporating the ankh and the yin-yang, symbolising balance and duality. Through a cinematic lo-fi, indie-witch 80s–00s grunge aesthetic, they channel the energy of the Welsh landscape, important political topics and our connection with nature in a digital age.

Intimate, playful, theatrical and astral yet grounded; their music feels like discovering a magical moss-covered cassette tape on a beach and pressing play. Half spell. Half diary.

Think Willow Smith, Bjork, Kate Bush, New Dad, Dora Jar, Slow Pulp, Paramore and Remi Wolf.

Expect an album release in 2026 featuring their songs Heavy on the Rise, Witches and Pin Up Girls.
