    Less than two years after bursting onto the Welsh music scene ”formidable live artist” Tara Bandito and her band have just returned from playing in LUCfest, Taiwan. Releasing her first single, ‘Blerr’, with Côsh Records in January 2022, wrestler’s daughter, Tara has reached BBC Introducing Bethan Elfyn’s top 5 artists, God is in the TV Zine top 10 list and was named as BBC 6 Music DJ Huw Stephens’ ‘artist of the week’. Bandito has since released seven singles, and in January 2023 she released her debut self-titled album – with the lead track ‘Croeso i Gymru’ soon picked up by Craig Charles on BBC 6 Music.

    Having experienced her first tour at 8 weeks old with her father, El Bandito’s Wrestling show, travelling is in her blood. Before pursuing her career as a solo artist, Tara gigged across the world in Charlotte Church’s Late Night Pop Dungeon and trained in India as an ashtanga yoga teacher. These experiences have shaped a unique international artist, teaming up Welsh language and Sanskrit, sitar and harp, raw, autobiographical lyrics and thumping beats. “Exuding musical charisma from every pore” – DJ Adam Walton, she prides herself on showering her audience with a pumping SHOW.
