“A kaleidoscopic blend of psych-infused surf rock and west coast-influenced guitar pop.”
    Paul Lester, THE GUARDIAN

“Although it’s still only early days in the band’s fledgling career, their potential is enormous.” DROWNED IN SOUND

“Welsh psych rockers appeared at 2pm – and blew away all expectations.”
    BBC Introducing at Leeds Festival

Worldcub return with a new lineup and new album, which will be released a week following their performance at The Rocking Chair. Brothers Cynyr and Dion Hamer are joined by Jasmine Roberts on guitar and Calvin Thomas, who has re-joined the band on bass guitar. Taking influence from 70s/80s McCartney and DIY ‘Fantastic Man’, William Onyeabor, they produce material from their home studio on the hills of Eryri, splicing together elements of surf guitar music, kraut-rock grooves and hypnotic psych tinged Cymru vocal harmonies. Their debut album ‘Fforesteering’ gained coverage on major platforms such as The Guardian and UNCUT Magazine, with airtime on BBC Radio 6 Music, BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio Wales and Cymru. The band also gained momentum live, earning their debut performance slot on the BBC Introducing stage at Reading & Leeds Festival, as well as notable performances at Liverpool Sound City, Liverpool Psych Fest and BreakOut West in Canada with FOCUS Wales.
