Wrexham All Voices Choir – A Community Choir for Everyone – were formally Wrexham Community Choir and have been singing in Wrexham and around the area for over a decade and a half. We’ve been asked to sing in churches, in pubs, in street festivals, in eisteddfods and regular festivals. We love to sing songs from around the world – songs to stirr the soul and lift the spirit.
We meet every Tuesday evening (during term). Currently we are meeting at Wrexham Methodist Church, 37 Regent Street, Wrexham LL13 1RY. All are welcome to sing….everyone has a voice, so use it! There’s no audition, and no pressure to perform.
Our musical director is Ella Spiers, a Natural Voice teacher, who guides the choir using her hands to indicate voices going up ar down and allows time for each singer to copy and remember their part…..once it all comes together its a glorious, uplifting sound of harmonious acapella singing. We sing in Welsh, English and a number of other languages to express ourselves.
