Bugsy Champagne (Aka Arran Jones) is a singer/songwriter, musical artist, entertainer, and political activist. Born in the historically musical South Wales Valleys, Bugsy always found a way to connect with music from very young when Bugsy was 12, he had moved to the United States and started performing various gigs around Texas. After a while Bugsy ended up moving to Oklahoma City which proved to bolster his LGBTQ+ political activism as he worked alongside multiple agencies such as YES! (Youth Equality Services) & Cimarron Alliance. After Bugsy moved to Salt Lakee City, Utah, Bugsy started venturing into not only original music but started a new persona named “Bugsy Champagne”…
Bugsy underwent intensive vocal and performance training at “Pop Orchestra School Of Music” Bugsy developed the persona originally titled “The Arrangement” and rebranded as “Bugsy Champagne”, he performed all over Salt Lake City, at mutliple venues such as “the Rise, The Complex, Christkindlmarket, The Utah State Fair” in 2017 Arran won nationals for his original songwriting & singing representing the USA and then placed 4th in World Music Trophy representing the UK… Bugsy moved back to the United Kingdom in 2021 and has newly setup his music career this side of the pond. Performing at Black History Month, Brecon Jazz and various other local gigs. Bugsy has been working alongside agencies such as TAN Cerdd and TracCymru, Bugsy has even ventured into the welsh political activist side attending panel discussions at Awen that reached local politics.
