Callum is Scotland based working as an agent/manager for folk, traditional and roots artists and a freelance double bassist across a variety of genres. With an international career spanning large scale orchestral work, international touring, project management, bookings, traditional music and education, Callum’s focus is on supporting other musicians from the beginning of their career.
Callum is the manager and member of Scottish folk and traditional band Heron Valley. With yearly touring across USA, Canada and Scotland as well as appearances in Europe, the band deliver high energy performances and workshops at festivals, concerts and schools.
In 2024, Callum joined Midnight Mango Ltd, an established international live music booking agency based in the UK, with agents living around the world.
Often called upon for tour management and artist liaising, Callum has recently been appointed as a project manager for Showcase Scotland Expo, leading on their presence at Focus Wales.
