Dion Jones is helping drive a new wave of independent music activity in Wales, working day‑to‑day with Recordiau Côsh Records to support artists such as Tokomololo, Buddug, Malan, Gwilym and Mali Hâf – shaping releases, building campaigns and keeping the label moving at the pace of the scene.
He is the founder of Clamp, a North Wales–based promoting and booking project building gigs, tours and grassroots events across the region – creating platforms for artists and strengthening the live ecosystem from the ground up.
Dion is also one half of Alffa, the Welsh rock duo that became the first Welsh‑language band to surpass a million streams on Spotify, a landmark moment that helped push contemporary Welsh music into new international spaces.
Across all his work, Dion focuses on artist development, bilingual communication and building sustainable, community‑driven pathways for Welsh music to grow, travel and be heard.
