Shwmae! My name is Gareth Rees. I am the broadcast technician of Radio Platfform which effectively means that I run the radio station in the Wales Millennium Centre. I am a radio presenter and producer with a passion for independent and upcoming artists. Music has always been my life so I live and breathe the culture. This is my third year in a row at Focus Wales and it is one of my favourite festivals in the world. I am also a gig promoter and run weekly gigs in Cardiff, my independent company Heard it Here First highlights the best upcoming artists in a blog and through events. I am looking to network with bands, artists, promoters and anyone else this year and can’t wait to meet like minded people!
