Based in Hastings, TYGERMYLK (Hayz Harland) is an indie-pop artist and co-founder of Queer Ass Folk, a grassroots music night amplifying queer voices, fostering community and redefining live music for LGBTQ+ artists. Their debut album Local Girl, Always Tired, ten years in the making, is a powerful coming-of-age record shaped by grief, resilience, chronic illness and advocacy for LGBTQIA+ rights and disability inclusion. With dreamy vocals, nostalgic guitars and fearless honesty, the release is already gaining support from DIY Mag, Consequence, tmrw, BBC Introducing and more.

A seasoned live performer, TYGERMYLK busked for years on London’s Southbank, honing a reputation for raw vulnerability and connection. They’ve since performed at Glastonbury and Isle of Wight Festival, and appeared live on Channel 4’s The Last Leg, cementing their place as a compelling voice in the UK’s queer indie scene.
