James is the director and founder of Bark. PR, a Music Press and Radio company based in London and runs niche new London-based Record Label and Management company called Silent Kid Records, focusing on Digital and Vinyl releases.
Bark. PR focuses on Traditional National Press and Radio services in the UK, alongside Digital Marketing including Tastemaker Online blogging and DSP Playlist Plugging.
Over the years James has history of working with artists such as Gary Numan, Squarepusher, Swim Deep, Ladytron, Pendulum, The Bloody Beetroots, The Dead South, Still Corners, Andrew Bayer and Leftfield, MINAS, teethin and Kidsmoke, to name a few.
James’ background is in Music teaching and lecturing at the University of Sunderland, supported with a complete Master Of Arts Degree in Music Business and Education and he currently teaches a Music Business Apprenticeship via Big Creative Education in London.
James also manages upcoming Welsh band ‘teethin’ and owns the music discovery blog Mystic Sons (www.mysticsons.com).
