From 2011–2025, James Minor served as Vice President and General Manager of the SXSW Music Festival, guiding programming, international strategy, and cross-sector partnerships for one of the world’s most influential music platforms. His work has focused on developing markets, supporting long-term artist growth, and advancing immersive and experiential formats within global cultural exchange.
Since leaving SXSW, Minor has remained engaged in artist-facing work while exploring his next leadership chapter, currently managing the reunited indie band Voxtrot and overseeing touring, releases, and long-term strategy.
