Johnny Marlow boasts an impressive 31-year career in the music industry, having worked in various roles such as record store manager, label and booker, and festival producer. Throughout his extensive career, Johnny has gained a wealth of experience and expertise in the field. For the past two decades, he has been an integral part of BreakOut West, overseeing submissions, awards, and the jury. Additionally, Johnny has played a key role in producing the festival and managing the conference. BreakOut West is a yearly music event that features a music development conference and a music festival with over 50 artists performing at various venues. The festival showcases Western Canadian talent alongside International and Pan-Canadian artists, and is hosted by the Western Canadian Music Alliance. The upcoming 2024 BreakOut West Festival is scheduled to take place from September 25 to 29, 2024 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
