Marcus Ryder MBE is the CEO of the Film and TV Charity, as well as the Chair of RADA. In 2020 he established the Sir Lenny Henry Centre for Media Diversity and has worked in the media industry for over thirty years. For the last two years Variety magazine has listed him in its Variety500, an index of the 500 most influential business leaders shaping the global media industry. In 2023 Marcus Ryder was awarded the Percy Qoboza Foreign Journalist of the Year Award by the National Association of Black Journalists
