Simon Metcalfe is an events and artist manager working across the UK’s independent music sector. He works at the Association of Independent Music leading on programming and delivery of industry conferences and the Independent Music Awards.
His work focuses on bringing together independent artists, labels and industry leaders to share practical insight, explore new ideas and support the growth of independent music businesses. He has delivered a range of in-person and digital events, shaping conversations around key areas including sync, marketing, international growth and the future of the independent sector.
Alongside his work at AIM, Simon manages and develops artists, working closely on release strategy, audience growth and live campaigns. He works hands-on with artists to build momentum, navigate releases and grow their presence across both live and digital spaces.
