Yasmine Latkowski, a respected music composer and performer known for her enchanting compositions, has gained recognition for her talent in blending diverse cultural influences into her music. Inspired by her dual heritage and the captivating melodies and rhythms of Middle Eastern music, Yasmine embarked on a musical adventure that led her to compose many production albums and documentary scores, often alongside esteemed session players such as Tim Garside, Joelle Barker, and the Klezmer band She’ Koyokh. She also works with the rich and unique sounds of Balkan, Nordic, and Celtic musical traditions. Her latest albums include “Celtic Pipes,” with bagpiper Tim Eastwood, and “Suspended in Time,” both published by Media Tracks, as well as “Middle Eastern Spirits” and “Insights,” both published by West One Music. These are skilful blends of these diverse elements, highlighting Yasmine’s versatility and deep understanding of global music. Her contributions to the music industry have garnered widespread acclaim, including features on renowned platforms such as United Nations Summits, BBC Africa Eye, and BBC Panorama. In her upcoming band project “Panedeni,” Yasmine is teaming up with renowned songwriters Sion Rickard (Lo Fi Jones) and Ayoub Boukhalfa (Oasis Choir, National Theatre Wales), promising an exciting blend of Welsh and Arabic music and captivating storytelling that will undoubtedly contribute to her esteemed musical legacy. She will be performing in and around North Wales alongside Joelle Barker, Sam Slater, Katie Stevens, Tim Eastwood, Reuben Allen, and John Rahm.
