Isle Of Hip Hop is a rising force in the South Wales music scene — a dynamic event series and artist collective dedicated to celebrating and pushing the culture of Hip Hop across the region. Founded by local artists Milo, K-Saulz, and KJ, Isle of Hip Hop is more than just a showcase — it’s a community platform for MCs, producers, DJs, and fans alike.
The collective was born in late 2023 when Milo and K-Saulz — both seasoned Hip Hop MCs from Barry and Rhondda Valley respectively — joined forces with the goal of creating an open mic space for local talent. The movement quickly grew, and with the addition of KJ, a versatile MC and producer from Barry with roots in Hip Hop, House, Garage and Drum & Bass, the Isle of Hip Hop identity was solidified.
Since its inception, Isle of Hip Hop has hosted high-energy events across South Wales, showcasing local talent and special guests from further afield, including artists from Bristol and beyond. Their events have lit up venues such as the Tynewydd Inn in Barry and The Heath Pub in Cardiff — with UK Hip Hop legend Farma G headlining in June 2025.
The collective continues to grow in influence and ambition. Alongside their live events, they are also working on their debut group album, set for release in early 2026, blending new collaborative tracks with individual showcases — all under the Isle of Hip Hop banner.
