    Jasmine Power is a Celtic songstress, songwriter and classical pianist who stands out as one of Wales’ most distinctive voices and songwriters in contemporary music, seamlessly blending jazz with a strong pop sensibility, celtic-inspired songwriting and an essence of electronica. Power’s insightful flare for storytelling reminisces the likes of Tori Amos, Kate Bush and Freddie Mercury. Her music has been endorsed by highly respected UK selectors; Jamie Cullum of BBCRadio2 hailed her as “a great new British singer with excellent songwriting and a unique sound”, and states “there’s something beautifully British about her music”, while Gilles Peterson of BBCRadio6 dubbed her “one to watch”. Robert Elms BBCRadioLondon has stated ‘her music is so fresh and her voice so unique.’

    Power has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Cadogan Hall (LJF), The Jazz Café, The Pheasantry, Love Supreme Festival and Fusion Festival.
    Jasmine also composes songs for other artists, film and TV & has collaborated with Grammy Award-winning Melissa Manchester, Amanda Palmer (Dresden Dolls), Laura Osnes (Disney), Moses Boyd and Electronic pioneer Eric Martin (Technotronic) among many, demonstrating her versatility and commitment to meaningful artistic expression. Her award-winning band include; Moses Boyd, Joe Armon-Jones, Daniel Casimir and Harrison Cole.
