Andrew runs SLUSH, promoting live music in Wales. SLUSH is a community interest company with a focus on emerging artists and grassroots music venues, and began life at the award-winning venue CWRW. He also curates the four trail stages of BOIA festival, held annually in St. David’s.
Andrew co-runs BWGiBWGAN, a new record label for Wales. With a roster of around a dozen bands and musicians including MWSOG and Tai Haf Heb Drigolyn, their artists have been championed by KEXP, 6 Music and So Young magazine, among others.
Additionally, Andrew is a Director of CWRW Studios, a new recording and rehearsal space in West Wales. In its first year of existence, our studio engineers – Louis O’Hara, Jayce Lewis and Emyr Taylor – have recorded artists including Adwaith, Why Horses? and casual smart.
As a freelancer Andrew has worked for Beacons Cymru, BBC Horizons and on several learning and workshop projects for young people.
