Hi! my name is Timo Kumpf and I was born in 1981. Today I live in Berlin. I’ve hosted my first little festival in South-Germany at the age of 16 and never stopped promoting since. I also played approx. 500+ concerts as bass player in 2 bands called Soapbox and Get Well Soon incl. Roskilde, Glastonbury, Melt, Rock En Seine, etc. Stopped touring myself in 2019. After also being a tour booker and agent (e.g. Wallis Bird, Amplifier, Keston Cobblers Club) for while I’m now focused on being a local promoter in Mannheim / Heidelberg area. Started one of Germany’s leading boutique festivals , called “Maifeld Derby” in 2011. In 14 years we brought artists like The National, James Blake, Phoenix St.Vincent as established acts as well as Hozier, Lambrini Girls, Cigarettes After Sex, Aurora, Daughter before their breakthrough to Mannheim. Maifeld Derby ended in 2025, but still trying to keep a buzz with smaller editions. But mainly working for my local company “Delta Konzerte”, a multi-genre-promoter from small venues to arenas.
