Elina Lee is a Pop/R&B/Neo-soul singer-songwriter with Thai roots based in Cardiff. Raised in Sweden before moving to Wales, she spent her early years writing poetry on metro journeys – a pastime that evolved into a passion for songwriting. She describes her music as melancholic and atmospheric alt-RnB/Pop with 80s-inspired synths. Her lyrics cover topics of nostalgia, love and reflection. Drawing inspiration from artists like Sampha, Chiiild and Majid Jordan, she has developed a slow-burning dreamlike sound suited to late night-listening. Elina Lee has supported artists like Aleighcia Scott, Adjua and performed at the legendary Bristol Old Vic. She has received early support from BBC Introducing and BBC Radio Wales, with her debut single Déjà Vu that is also featured on Tina Edwards’ Next Big Thing in Wales podcast available on British Airways fights.
