Mother Sky are a collective of musicians heralding from South Wales, Manchester and London. The band assembled remotely during the pandemic in 2021 to record a collection of obscure folk covers. They have since reunited as friends foremost and creative collaborators to write and record original music.
Mother Sky have self-released three singles, all critically acclaimed, receiving plays on BBC Radio 2 (Mark Radcliffe), BBC 6 Music (Cerys Matthews) and BBC Radio Wales (Huw Stephens and Adam Walton). Their third single, released in March, features the powerful singer/songwriter and frontwoman of The Duke Spirit, Liela Moss.
Mother Sky deliver an enigmatic, powerful and immersive live performance, and are in the process of writing their debut album.
