Originally from Lancashire, UK and now based in Gothenburg, Sweden, Al has worked in independent music for over 20 years.
His career includes positions at Mute, All Tomorrow’s Parties, Matador Records, Ravenhouse Management and London’s Institute of Contemporary Arts.
Al has worked as an artist manager since 2010 and currently runs the artist management company Aery (Yann Tiersen, QUINQUIS, Clara Mann, Bill Ryder-Jones) which he co-founded with Andrew Ellis in Liverpool in 2021. He also plays in the band Bonnacons of Doom (Rocket Recordings).
