DIM OND DAWNS are HUGØ and ASH, a DJ duo who have been running parties and club nights since the late 90’s. Mostly DJ’ing on the underground scene but also known for collective past nights such as Funktion and Selectro. Both DJ’s have a varied style of sound.
We are passionate about electronic music that is for everyone.
Our nights are an “accessible to all” artform that initiates an ethereal conversation between body & music and knows no boundaries.
Eclectic in taste and form we cover most genres and sub-genres with small pop-up gigs to larger scale events.
HUGØ has been on the party scene since the early 90’s. He is a staple of the Audio Farm Festival crew and over the years has been a huge part of the events. His love for DJ’ing stemmed from the after parties of Luv*Jam nights and is now an established DJ in bars, clubs and on the festival circuit. His style is everything and anything in-between but has a love for fusing disco and house music. His wealth of experience means he knows how to work the room and caters not only for his own tastes but also for the crowd.
ASH has played many events over the years besides his own, DJ’ing at events such as Luv*Lam, Festival No6, Audio Farm Festival and Focus Wales to name a few. With techno as his arm, his love for this style was born from going to parties in Berlin back in the early 2000s, with precursors at Nation and Voodoo in Liverpool. He first started DJ’ing at raves in the Welsh forest’s where he found his fast tempo style. Over the years he has played many different styles of music but always loves going back to his first love for techno! More recently he has started a journey in producing his own music with aims of live performance in the very near future.
